FISH BALL 
Wash in cold water and shred 1 cup of salted cod fish. Pare and cube 2 cups potatoes. Cook salted fish and potatoes together in boiling water until potatoes are soft. Put through strainer and return to kettle and mash thoroughly. Add one egg, well beaten. Add 1/8 teaspoon pepper and beat 2 minutes.

Fry by spoonfuls for 1 minute in deep hot fat. Serve with ketchup if wanted.
