SANTA'S WHISKERS 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. finely chopped red candied cherries
3/4 c. flaked coconut
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
Flaked coconut

Cream together butter and sugar. Blend in milk and vanilla. Stir in flour, coconut, cherries and pecans; mix well. Form into 2 rolls. Roll in flaked coconut. Wrap in waxed paper and chill. Cut into 1/4" slices. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes or until edges are golden.
