SAUSAGE ROLLS 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
5 tsp. shortening
2/3 c. milk
1 lb. well seasoned sausage

Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk. Halve the dough; roll out each half 1/4 inch thick on floured board. Spread with sausage. Roll up as a jelly roll. Wrap in waxed paper. Chill. When ready to serve, slice 1/4 inch thick. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 to 10 minutes.
