JOSEPH'S MINI SAUSAGE ROLLS 
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. Crisco
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg yolk
2/3 c. milk
1 lb. sausage meat

Combine flour, salt, baking powder, Crisco and butter. Rub all together until like fine bread crumbs. Mix together the egg yolk and milk and pour over flour mixture. Blend well. Roll out into 12"x2" rectangle container.

Roll sausage meat into strips, place in the pastry. Damp edges and fold over the top of sausage meat. Seal edges with a fork. Cut the long roll into 2" pieces. Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown.
