6 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. vinegar

Using large mixing bowl, beat egg whites until frothy. Add cream of tartar and beat until very stiff. Gradually add sugar and vanilla. Beat well. Add vinegar and beat. Drop by large (heaping) spoon onto lightly buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for approximately 1 hour. Cool, top with berries and whipped cream.
