SCOTCH - ROB ROY 
1 jigger (1-1/2 oz.) Scotch
1/2 jigger (3/4 oz.) Sweet Vermouth

Pour over cracked ice in mixing glass. Stir vigorously. Strain. Serve.

For a Dry Rob Roy, instead of Sweet Vermouth, substitute Dry Vermouth. Add a lemon twist. A cocktail olive not bad either. Served "on the rocks" is best.

I like to make it a perfect rob roy by adding equal parts sweet and dry vermouth.
