GLENNA'S RED VELVET CAKE 
2 c. flour + 2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 c. red food color
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vinegar

Mix eggs, Crisco and sugar. Add buttermilk, flour and salt. Add food color and cocoa, soda and vinegar. Mix well and pour into 2 (9 inch) cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool. Frost with whipped cream icing.
