CORN FRITTERS | |
2 eggs (lg.) 1 1/3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. oil or melted shortening 1 (16 1/2 oz.) can cream style corn Hot fat Beat eggs, add flour, salt and baking powder. Mix. Stir in oil. Add can of corn and mix well. Drop by spoonful into hot fat (about 1 1/2 inches deep). Allow to fry until golden brown. Serve hot with syrup. Makes 12 to 18 fritters. |
