RUSSIAN TEACAKES 
1 c. soft butter (oleo will work but butter tastes best)
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly. Blend flour and salt together, stir in. Mix in the nuts. Chill. Make into 1 inch balls. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. Cool. Roll in sugar again. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
