DISGUSTINGLY GOOD BROWNIES | |
2 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 c. butter 3/4 c. cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour 3/4 c. cocoa 1/2 c. chopped walnuts 1/4 tsp. salt Bowl 8 or 9 inch baking pan Smear inside of an 8 or 9 inch baking pan with shortening. Melt butter over LOW heat. In mixing bowl, stir the cocoa and sugar together, then stir in melted butter. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir. Add flour and salt. Mix until smooth. Add walnuts. DO NOT stir too much. Scrape mixture into greased pan with spatula. Spread out evenly. Bake in a 350 degree oven until brownies just begin to pull away from the sides of the pan or until you can stick a toothpick in the center of the pan and pull it out without batter sticking to it. It takes about 40 to 50 minutes. Let cool before cutting. This is the hardest part. |
