HAM BROCCOLI ROLL FOR 2 | |
2 slices boiled ham, 1/4 inch thick 2 slices Swiss cheese 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked & drained SAUCE: 1 1/2 tbsp. butter 1 1/2 tsp. flour 1/8 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. prepared horseradish 1 tsp. prepared mustard 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. onion, grated 1 slightly beaten egg yolk 1/2 c. pineapple juice 1/4 c. milk Top each ham slice with slice of cheese. Place 1/2 of cooked broccoli on top of that. In heavy saucepan melt butter. Blend in flour, salt, horseradish, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and onion. Combine egg yolk and pineapple juice. blend in butter mixture. Stir in milk. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbling. Spoon 1 tablespoon sauce over broccoli. Roll ham and cheese and broccoli. Secure with wooden pick. Place rolls in shallow baking dish. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Reheat remaining sauce and spoon over ham rolls to serve. |
