APPLE KUCHEN 
1/2 c. butter
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 c. flaked coconut
20 oz. can apple pie filling or 2 1/2 c. sliced, pared apples
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. dairy sour cream
2 egg yolks or 1 whole egg

Cut butter into dry cake mix until crumbly. Mix in coconut. Pat mixture lightly into ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan, building up edges slightly. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Pour pie filling or arrange apples on top of mixture. Mix cinnamon and sugar; sprinkle on apples. Blend in eggs and sour cream. Drizzle over apples. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 12.
