1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
50 to 60 unwraped Hershey kisses

Mix all together except kisses. Shape into balls, roll in additional sugar place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from oven, immediately top each cookie with candy kiss. Press down firmly so that each cookie cracks around edges.
