COCOA KISS COOKIES | |
1 c. butter, softened 2/3 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 2/3 c. unsifted all purpose flour 1/4 c. Hershey's cocoa 1 c. finely chopped pecans 1 (9 oz.) pkg. Hershey's milk chocolate kisses (about 54) Confectioner's sugar Cream butter, sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl. Combine flour and cocoa; blend into creamed mixture. Add pecans; beat on low speed until well blended. Chill dough about 1 hour or until firm enough to handle. Meanwhile, unwrap kisses. Shape scant tablespoon of dough around each chocolate kiss, covering kiss completely. Shape into balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until set. Cool slightly; remove to wire rack. Cool completely; roll in confectioner's sugar. Roll in sugar again before serving, if desired. About 4 1/2 dozen cookies. |
