1/2 lb. caramels 2 tbsp. heavy cream 1 c. pecans (halves) 1/2 pkg. chocolate chips Melt caramels in cream over hot water; cook for about 10 minutes. Place nuts on waxed paper in groups of 3. Spoon caramel mixture over nuts leaving tips showing; let set for about 30 minutes. Melt chocolate over hot water; cool until lukewarm. Spread over caramels. Yield: 24 pieces. |
