SQUASH APPLE BAKE 
1 butternut squash
Apples, cored and cut into 1/2 inch slices (do not peel)
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 lb. melted butter
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. mace

Cut squash in half, peel and cut into 1/2 inch slices. Layer apples on top of squash. Use just enough apples to layer on top of squash. Mix brown sugar, melted butter, flour, salt and mace. Spread on top of apples and squash. Cover pan with foil. Use 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Can double recipe and use 9 x 13 inch pan.
