CHRISTMAS BREAKFAST 
45 slices bread
5 lb. grated sharp cheddar
5 lb. bulk sausage, cooked and well drained
50 eggs, beaten
5 pt. half and half
2 1/2 tsp. salt

Prepare the night before. Cover bottom of 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan with bread slices. Spread well drained meat evenly on bread. Sprinkle cheese on top of meat. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Add milk, salt, and half and half. Pour the mixture over the bread, meat and cheese. Cover dish and let sit at least 1 1/2 hours or put it into the refrigerator for 12 hours.

When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove cover from pan and bake for about 1 hour. Let dish cool for about 5 minutes and serve.
