TOFFEE 
1 c. sugar
1 stick (real) butter
Pecans, chopped
3 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
6 oz. chocolate chips
Baking soda (dash)

In saucepan, combine ingredients and cook to hard boil stage. Stir in a dash of soda. Spread on cookie sheet. Smear 6 ounces chocolate chips across toffee while hot. Let cool and break in pieces.
