ALL BRAN PRUNE BREAD 
2 c. Kellogg's All Bran
2/3 c. juice from cooked prunes

Soak above together.

2/3 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. shortening
1 egg
1 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. chopped cooked prunes
1/3 c. nut meats

Cream sugar-shortening, add egg and beat well. Add All Bran mixture with buttermilk. Sift flour with soda and salt and add to the first mixture with prunes and nut meats. Stir until flour disappears. Bake in greased loaf pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
