FRENCH FRIED ONION RINGS 
3/4 c. flour, sifted
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. Wesson oil
1 egg, unbeaten
3 med. onions, peeled
Oil for frying

Mix flour and salt in bowl. Add milk, oil and egg. Beat well until smooth. Cut onions into 1/4 inch slices and separate into rings. Dip each ring into batter, drain excess batter over bowl and drop a few at a time into heated oil. Fry 2 to 3 minutes, turning occasionally. Drain on paper towel.
