ENGLISH TOFFEE 
1 c. white sugar
1/2 lb. butter
3 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
6 sm. Hershey bars
3/4 c. nuts

Place sugar, butter, water and vanilla in a saucepan and cook until brown in color. Stir constantly. Pour into buttered pan. Lay Hershey bars on top of hot mixture and spread. Sprinkle nuts on top and cool. Break into pieces. Good.
