SWEDISH PINEAPPLE DUMP CAKE 
2 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
20 oz. can crushed pineapple (not drained)
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Beat first 5 ingredients together until blended. Add other 3 ingredients and mix again. This is why it is called a dump cake; just dump everything in at once.

Bake at 350°F for 30 to 40 minutes in a greased 9 x 13-inch METAL pan or use 2 layer cake pans.

For topping, sprinkle on powdered sugar only IMMEDIATELY before serving. Or for richer topping, use icing made of 8 ounces cream cheese (softened to room temperature), mixed with 1 stick butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 cups powdered sugar.

May top with crumbled nuts, if desired for prettier cake. Refrigerate before serving.
