ROSS'S 5 FLAVOR POUND CAKE 
CAKE:

2 sticks butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
3 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
5 eggs
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1 c. milk
1 tsp. coconut flavoring
1 tsp. rum flavoring
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. butter flavoring

Blend butter, shortening, and sugar. Add eggs and 5 flavorings. Mix flour, salt, and baking powder and sift. Add milk alternately with flour. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until done.

GLAZE:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tbsp. coconut flavoring
1 tbsp. lemon flavoring
1 tbsp. butter flavoring
1 tbsp. rum flavoring

Combine ingredients in saucepan and bring to a boil; stir until sugar is melted. Pour evenly over hot cake in pan. Let stand in pan until cake is cool.
