WALDORF SALAD 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. jello, lemon, cherry, strawberry, or orange pineapple
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling water
3/4 c. cold water
1/2 tsp. vinegar
3/4 c. diced celery
1 c. diced red delicious apples (about 1 1/2 apples)
1/4 c. chopped walnuts

Dissolve jello and salt in boiling water. Add cold water and vinegar. Chill until firm. Fold in celery, apples, and walnuts. Spoon into individual molds or a 1 quart mold. Chill until firm. Unmold and serve with cheese balls, if desired.
