SKIER'S STEW - MEATY & HEARTY | |
1 (3 lb.) beef roast, stewed & cut in tiny pieces 3 lbs. washed & diced red potatoes 2 lg. onions, cut up 2 lg. (28 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes 1 (about 15 oz.) can sauerkraut Chunked bratwurst (opt.) or cooked pork roast (to make it stretch further) Simmer 2 to 3 hours on top of stove in heavy pan until potatoes are done and meat completely shreds apart. Do not discard any juice. Add water as needed to keep it moist. |
