SCALLOPED POTATOES 
5 c. potatoes (sliced thin)
2 med. onions, sliced
1 can cream of celery soup
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Dash of salt
4 slices bacon

Arrange potatoes, onions in baking dish. Spoon celery soup and add 1 can of water to mixture. Sprinkle pepper and salt over mixture. Top with cheese and bacon. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove foil and cook additional 30 minutes (or until lightly browned).
