BIZCOCHOS 
3 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
2 slightly beaten eggs

Mix dry ingredients, cut in shortening. Set aside 2 tablespoons egg. Mix egg and milk with dry ingredients. Turn out on floured surface, knead to a soft dough. Roll out, cut with 2 1/2" circles. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, brush with reserved egg. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Yield: 18 biscuits.
