2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sour milk
1 lg. egg

Sift together flour, salt and soda. Cut in butter until very fine. Add the milk and egg mix to a stiff dough. Roll out dough very thin. Cut into shapes and prick with a fork. Salt the tops (optional). Bake at 400 degrees on a lightly buttered cookie sheet 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
