SODA CRACKERS 
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. buttermilk

Combine flour, soda and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Add buttermilk and stir until well combined. Knead into a ball.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. On a lightly floured board, roll out dough 1/8 inch thick. Cut out crackers with a round cookie cutter. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Prick tops several times with a fork. Sprinkle with salt. Bake until light brown, about 15-20 minutes. Cool on a rack. Store in a tightly covered container.
