CREAMY FRENCH FROSTING 
1 egg
3 tbsp. white Karo syrup
2 1/3 c. powdered sugar (sifted)
1/3 c. shortening
1/3 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat egg and add syrup and sugar. Beat at medium speed until blended. Add shortening and butter and vanilla. Beat for 5 minutes at high speed.
