SAVORY FROSTED FRENCH BREAD 
FROSTING:

1 c. mayonnaise, preferably homemade
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. chopped onions
1 tsp. chopped fresh chives
3 dashes Tabasco sauce
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. chopped fresh oregano or 1 tsp. dried oregano

1 loaf French bread, split in half lengthwise
Paprika

Blend frosting ingredients in food process and blend on-off motion, or mix by hand in small bowl. Frost bread and sprinkle with paprika. Place bread, frosted side up on oven rack. Bake until bubbly and golden, 350 degrees, 15 to 20 minutes. Slice with serrated knife or pizza cutter.
