SEVEN LAYER SALAD 
(1) 1/2 bowl lettuce
(2) 1 c. chopped celery, pour over lettuce
(3) 1 c. chopped bell pepper, pour over celery
(4) 1 c. chopped green onion, pour over pepper
(5) 1 1/2 c. frozen English peas, pour over onion
(6) 1 to 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise, spread over peas, sprinkle 2 tbsp. sugar over mayonnaise
(7) 1 to 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

8 slices bacon cooked crisp and crumbled may be spread over cheese. Cover and store in refrigerator 8 hours or overnight.
