"TO DIE FOR" BROWNIES | |
1 1/2 c. butter 12 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa 2 c. sugar 5 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt Melt 1 1/2 cups butter in a large saucepan. Add 12 tablespoons unsweetened Hershey's cocoa, 2 cups sugar, 5 eggs, and 2 teaspoons vanilla; mix well. Add 1 1/2 cups flour with 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1 teaspoon salt. Mix but don't beat too long. Add nuts, if desired. Pour into 9 x 14 inch pan. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees) until a wood toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean, approximately 20-25 minutes. |
