ICED CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE | |
1/2 lb. butter 1/2 c. Crisco 3 c. sugar 5 eggs 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. cocoa 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/4 c. sweet milk 3 c. plain flour Sift dry ingredients together. Cream butter and Crisco and sugar. Add other ingredients and cook 1 hour and 25 minutes at 300 degrees. ICING: 1 box 10X sugar 1 1/2 stick butter, melted 1 tsp. vanilla 3 tbsp. cocoa Add sugar and cocoa to melted butter. Add vanilla and can cream. Beat until smooth while still on stove. |
