SURPRISE BAKED BEANS 
12 slices bacon
3 cans (16 oz. each) pork and beans
1 can (13 1/4 oz.) pineapple tidbits
1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. catsup
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2 green onions, chopped (optional)
1 tbsp. dry mustard
Salt and pepper to taste

Fry bacon until crisp. Drain. Crumble. Combine all ingredients in a 2 1/2 or 3 quart casserole. Bake at 200 degrees for 8 hours. Yield: 16 servings.
