TEXAS HOT - HOT DOG SAUCE 
2 lb. hamburger
1 c. chopped onion
Salt
2 tbsp. cloves
Pepper
2 tbsp. dry mustard
2 lg. cans tomato juice
1 tbsp. cinnamon
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp. ginger
2 tbsp. paprika
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. nutmeg

Brown meat, onion and garlic. Add remaining ingredients. Cook 2 hours, stir often. Can be frozen.

Interesting take on a Texas Red Hot Sauce. Unless you're a huge fan of cloves, I'd cut it down to 1 tbsp (if not less). Just depends on your taste. This recipe yields a perfect consistency for Texas Red Hot Sauce. Easily enough for 24 links. I'd consider using it again, minus the cloves, with a little less nutmeg....
