HOT DOG CHILI SAUCE | |
2 lb. hamburger (browned in Crisco) 1 1/2 c. chopped onions 2 tsp. salt 4 tbsp. chili powder 1 tbsp. ground cloves 1 tbsp. ground nutmeg 1 tbsp. black pepper 2 3/4 tbsp. paprika 1 sm. bottle Heinz ketchup 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar 4 c. water 1 c. flour Brown hamburger; drain. Add next 9 ingredients; mix. Add 3 cups water; mix. Dissolve flour in remaining cup of water. Stir mixture while adding flour. Simmer slowly for 2 hours. Makes about 1 gallon. |
