1 German chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. Carnation milk
3/4 c. melted butter
14 oz. pkg. caramels
1/2 c. Carnation milk
1 c. chocolate chips

Mix together cake mix, 1/2 cup Carnation milk, and 3/4 cup melted butter. Spread approximately 1/2 the batter in a 9 x 13 inch pan and bake 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt together in microwave caramels and 1/2 cup Carnation milk. Pour over partially baked cake batter and put chocolate chips over caramel. Cover with remaining batter and bake for 30 more minutes.
