THE BEST PIE CRUST 
5 c. flour
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
Water

Mix together 5 cups flour and shortening. Into measuring cup put one beaten egg, salt, vinegar and enough cold water to fill to one cup mark. Add this to flour and shortening mixture; mix well and chill before rolling. Makes 5 single crusts. Can be frozen.
