KEY LIME BREAD 
2/3 c. melted butter
3 c. flour
4 grated lime rinds
1/4 c. lime juice
1 c. chopped nuts
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Blend butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Stir in vanilla and grated rind. Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with milk. Add lime juice so it doesn't curdle. Fold in nuts. Bake in 2 greased loaf pans (meatloaf type) or 3 smaller loaf pans at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until done.

GLAZE: Mix juice of 4 limes with 1/2 cup sugar in saucepan until sugar is mostly dissolved. Spoon over hot baked bread in pans and cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan and slice the NEXT day. Freezes well.
