ENCHILADA SAUCE 
2 tbsp. shortening
3 tbsp. flour
3 1/2 tsp. red chile powder
1 tsp. cumin
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 of an 8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 c. water

Heat together shortening and flour. Gradually add remaining ingredients. Stir constantly until well blended and heat until hot.
