DANISH PUFFS 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. water
1 c. water
1/2 c. butter
1 tbsp. almond extract
1 c. flour
3 eggs

Mix flour, butter and 2 tablespoons water like pie crust. Form into two 12 x 3 inch strips on cookie sheet. Bring to a boil one cup water, butter and almond extract. Slowly add flour. Beat until smooth and then add eggs, one at a time, beating after each egg. Spread on crust. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Frost lightly. Garnish with sliced almonds or cherries.
