FISH IN SAUCY CHEESE 
1 lb. fish steaks or fillets, cut in serving pieces
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cut asparagus
1 (10 oz.) can Cheddar cheese soup
1/4 c. milk
1 c. soft bread crumbs
2 tbsp. melted butter

Place fish in a greased baking dish; dot with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 35 minutes. Meanwhile, cook asparagus as directed on package, drain and place on top of fish. Combine soup and milk and pour over fish. Combine crumbs and melted butter, sprinkle on top of soup. Return to oven until light brown. Serves 4.
