RHUBARB TORTE | |
3 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 6 tbsp. shortening 4 c. cut rhubarb 2 sm. pkgs. strawberry Jello 2 c. sugar 1/2 c. soft butter 2 slightly beaten eggs 4 tbsp. milk Mix 2 cups flour, baking powder and cut in shortening; add eggs and milk. Pat into 9"x13" pan. Spread rhubarb over crust and sprinkle Jello over rhubarb. Combine sugar, butter and 1 cup flour; mix into crumble state, sprinkle over Jello. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. |
