SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1/2 lb. ground veal
1 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. chopped onion
3/4 c. bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 egg
1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 c. half and half

Combine beef, pork and veal. Saute onion in skillet in butter until tender. Soak bread crumbs in milk. Add onion, bread crumbs mixture, salt, pepper, and allspice and egg to meat; mix well. Shape into 2 inch balls. Cook meatballs over medium heat, turn carefully to brown. Place cooked meatballs in casserole.

Reserve 2 tablespoons meat drippings in fry pan. Stir in flour and heat until bubbly. Gradually add chicken broth, stir until thickened. Stir in cream, cook 2 minutes longer. Add meatballs to sauce; simmer 10 minutes. Serve with rice.
