BUTTERY CINNAMON SKILLET APPLES 
1/3 c. butter
1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 med. cooking apples, cored, unpeeled, & cut in half

In 10 inch skillet, melt butter over medium heat 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in sugar and cornstarch, mix well. Add remaining ingredients. Cover. Cook over medium heat, spooning sauce over apples occasionally, until apples are fork tender and sauce is thickened (12 to 15 minutes).
