APPLE BROWNIES 
2/3 c. butter
1 c. dark brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped apples
1 c. chopped pecans

Heat oven to 350°F. Mix butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir in apples and nuts. Spread in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

Bake 40 minutes. Cut into bars.
