BANANAS AND APPLES IN CARAMEL
SAUCE
 
4 med. Golden Delicious apples
1 c. butter
1 c. packed light brown sugar
2/3 c. water
6 med. bananas
1 c. pecans

Cut apples into wedges. In 12 inch skillet over medium heat, in hot butter, cook apple wedges 5 minutes, stirring often.

Push apples to one side of skillet. Over low heat, stir in brown sugar until melted, stirring frequently. Gradually stir in water.

Cut bananas into 2 inch diagonal pieces. Add bananas and pecans to mixture, gently turning fruit occasionally. Serve warm. Makes 10 servings.
