MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time until well mixed. Sift flour and baking powder; add to mixture beginning and ending with flour. Add vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until pick comes out clean. Frost.

ICING:

Melt 1/2 stick butter; add 3 squares of bitter chocolate and stir until all is melted. Add 1/4-1/2 cup warm milk and 3 cups of powdered sugar. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Beat until right consistency to spread, adding powdered sugar or milk.
