SWEDISH SPRITZ 
1 1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
4 c. sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Thoroughly cream butter and sugar. Add egg, vanilla and almond extract. Beat well. Sift together flour and baking powder, add gradually to creamed mixture, mixing a smooth dough. Force dough through cookie press onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in hot oven, 400 degrees, 8 to 10 minutes. Cool. Decorate. Makes 6 dozen.

NOTE: For Christmas cookies, sprinkle red and green sugar on cookies before baking.
